Three Birds

I have a desk with a view now, and just had the pleasure of watching three little grey birds do acrobatics in the space outside of my window. They were very good, with swoops and dives and flips and maneuvours. And unfortunately they bitter sweet blend in with the grey towers behind them.

Angry Public Servant

Here is a public servant after finding out that the latest alias for his profession is 'pube': an australian slang word for pubic hair (and now public servant). He looks shocked actually.

Meat Tray

I went to the pub to see my brother to talk about my Dad, then I bought a beer and a ticket to the raffle. Some people joked about my ticket, one bloke said I was lucky. I had to leave to pick up Teal, so I gave my ticket to my brother and my number came up! He rang me so I went back and picked up him and the meat tray. Last night I ate 3 lamp chops.

Drawing Tablet

I managed to get my hand on a drawing tablet. This is my first attempt, using ol' faithful: paint. I will be journeying into the unknown with my new toy. Don't tell my friend Shane...

Camping

I went camping with James, Jason and the Dogs. We had a great time. We ate a hell of a lot, and drunk a few beers, and swam in some wild water and did I say we had a good time ? We plan to do it again... sooner or later.

Lent

I've given up alcohol for Lent. I'm supposed to pool all the money I've saved and give it to a charity at the end of the 40 days. I'm going pretty well so far actually, but the weekend is coming up (the first one since giving up) and I don't know how I'll go. Also my drinking buddy is coming back from interstate and that might also pose some tricky situations.

Hot Oz

It's VERY hot in the southern parts of Australia. So far I've recieved pictures of a koala in a bucket of water and a kangaroo in the ocean.
